Flower fan Mills presents a cardigan that in most ways is simplicity itself. Its main great feature is a doozy. Mills moves the neckline decreases some inches away from the perimeter of the V-neck, and uses the resulting straight field as embroidery fabric. The stems of the flowers are worked in intarsia; leaves and flowers added afterwards. Just as simply effective is the very subtle colour difference between the rib and the body: graceful, unobtrusive, thoughtful. This is worked in one piece to the underarm with a drop shoulder, and has both shoulder and back neck shaping.
