Beth Brown-Reinsel
for Knitting Traditions 1999
A Family Tam
Brown-Reinsel was born with a generous teacher's soul, and it just shines through this wonderful pattern. Included are 10 photographs and detailed instructions for knitting English- and continental-style, knitting with one colour in each hand, a fascinating tubular ribbing edge (easily worked after the Double Cast-On), I-cord-- anything relevant you can think of. Worked in a sport weight: just fine enough to give excellent detail, but not fine enough to madden the ambitious newbie. Sized for toddlers through large adult.
