'Boleros', they say, as if these weren't really special. They are. As layering pieces they belong in any wardrobe, wearable in any season when you need a little extra dash and warmth. The ties are knitted as part of the fronts; you start the fronts with a large number of stitches and decrease rapidly at the tie end, then shape the front neck and armholes. Sleeves are set in and their caps are full. There is no special edge finishing anywhere-- everything is all pure st st, left to roll at will; finishing is just blocking and sewing the pieces together. Spectacular in any kind of yarn at all.
