Once again we find ourselves delighted with the many possibilities in simplicity. These pieces are based on a simple garter ridge pattern (that's all there is on the back), with the front opening flanked by horseshoe cables. Drop shoulder. That's basically it. And yet, it looks so good, equally so with the jolly striped ribbing. If you make the vests, their shoulders are very sloped to fit properly. We love the drop shoulder vests on babies; it keeps them warm but frees the arms for getting into mischief.
