P1147 Flower Sweater and Hat (birth - age 3)

A jolly little drop shoulder sweater which (dare we say it) might be perfect for using up oddments in flower colours... or just making an abstract art statement with whatever you feel like using. The front and back are worked from a chart, with the flowers omitted from the back (or of course you could add them in). Interestingly, each shoulder is a different height, to give extra depth to the neck opening (gotta accommodate those big kid heads!)-- but that will mean the shoulder seams don't line up exactly. It won't matter; this piece is beyond charming. Hat is worked flat and seamed, on 3.75mm/US5 needles.
