Candy Cane Cutie (ages 1 - 6)

This pattern includes directions for a skirt and directions for legwarmers.

They can be worn separately, or together for a festive holiday outfit.

The main pieces of both the skirt and the legwarmers are worked flat. The stripes make circular needles a necessity however, because at times you will have to slide your work back to the other end of your circular needle in order to pick up the other colored yarn.

The main pieces are shaped so that when turned on their sides, the stripes appear to slant diagonally--just like a candy cane!

When the pieces are completed, the ends are grafted together for a seamless finish.
