Barry: "A cardigan with lace bodice and sleeves. A column of bobbles decorates each wide sleeve from neck to cuff. The bodice of the cardigan is knit from side to side beginning with the left front, back and sleeve. Once the bodice has been completed, stitches are picked up for the lower body and worked in one piece to the lower edge." Which means that aside from the straight undersleeve seams-- the sleeves are unshaped-- there's no sewing; a beautiful piece emerges with very little finishing.
