Even the largest size of the cardi calls for no more than 2 balls of the Baby Crofter DK; if you're making one of the smaller sizes, you may even get along with longish oddments. And yet everything looks so planned! Think of the endless combinations you could get with the variegates and solids listed below. The mouth waters. Cardi is knit in pieces to just past the raglan armhole beginnings, then you string everything together and finish the yoke as one piece, working back and forth. Hat is knit flat and seamed.
