Knitters clamoured for this pattern on the net, we asked Dale of Norway nicely, and they provided it right away. We are posting it on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend because it cannot wait-- it's that beautiful. It's worked in the usual Dale fashion with the body and sleeves in the round, then the armholes cut open (yes, with scissors) and the faced, flat-topped sleeves inserted; when you begin the neck shaping (front and back), you work back and forth. Originally this was worked in Tiur, which was a sportweight wool/kid mohair blend. You may use the worsted weights of Heilo, Falk, or the DK Kolibri as substitutes if you get the specified gauge. Scarf, hat, and purse patterns included as well.
