For sheer beauty and variety, the value of this pattern is incredible. Both the (drop-shoulder) cardigan and (raglan-sleeved, bottom-up) pullover are offered in hooded and unhooded versions; the instructions are entirely separate. Both versions are worked in the round. The cardigan is steeked at the front and then cut there and at the armholes after machine stitching reinforcement. The pullover has the yoke finished in the round after joining the sleeves to the body. These are beautiful designs, with large clear charts, a gorgeous updating of ancient traditions and techniques. Falk is the superwash version of Heilo; both are the same worsted weight worked at a sport tension. Needle size is a suggestion only; use whatever gives you the appropriate tension.
These designs are from Dale of Norway Book 125. A graceful notch-necked pullover version of Bjerk for adult women is available here.
