157 The Elite Sheep Sweater

Diana, Princess of Wales, wore her famous sheep sweater in 1983. The 'Elite Sheep Sweater' made its appearance two years later, complete with one black sheep standing out. There's a little back neck shaping, but otherwise the pullover is completely straight-sided (all the better for shoulder pads!). Interestingly, stitches are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are knitted down from there. Neither yarn is available any more, of course. The entire garment is charted, with front/back on a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper; bring a magnifier.
