Oh, the handsomeness, the natty good looks, the endless charm of this design. It's all knitting and purling, and while the directions look wordy as they're written out, you'll see the logic of the patterning very quickly as you work your way up. Armholes are lightly curved in on both the vest and sweater version; sleeves have a nice cap, as well as an echo of the front stitch patterning running down their length. The instructions for the V neck are thorough and excellent, written out row by row.
