Is this a great little cardi or what? The body fabric is garter stitch, so the whole thing is mostly knitted (anyone can stand purling just for the ribbed sections). The armholes are only lightly curved and the sleeve caps lightly rounded-- so while technically it's a set-in sleeve, the fit is more relaxed and leaning toward a drop shoulder. Either a V neck or a shawl collar (the shawl collar is shaped with wrapped short rows). There's a marvellous combination of textures here making for lasting good looks. Gauge given over garter stitch.
