I was looking for a classic, timeless little dress. Rio has a vintage feel to it, and will become an heirloom piece to be handed down from baby to baby.
Top down construction, with a center seed stitch panel and a full princess skirt.
Available also in Hilliard's Baby Dress Collection.
(I'd love to see this in adult sizes as a tunic, maybe with a little less fullness in the skirt. Anyone else?--ed.)

The gauge on this looks more like it would be worked in dk or sport - not fingering. Fingering patterns are more often 8 stitches to the inch. Yes??
