Oh, ye who yearn for fabulous knitting topography that remains easy to work but still shows off a variegated yarn perfectly-- come ye here. The body is made as one piece. Look at the variety of knitting and purling: garter ridge patterning, ribbing, and a bit of actual cabling, too (this is the line that divides the ribbing from the garter ridge around the waist). And if you make the cardi version, you've got lovely plain st st too, in the sleeves (which have a rounded cap though the garment is a drop shoulder). Lots of easy fun to work, and a knockout of a piece when done.
