A pair of pop-top mittens would be fine enough. A pair of pop-top mittens in a fair isle design is beyond pleasing. But a pair of pop-top mittens in such a combination of fair isle patterns, in such a soft and agreeable wool/milk protein blend, needs a megaphone to shout its brilliance. Carlson has done a wonderful job of offsetting her motifs against one another-- this is the sort of thing that Yves Saint Laurent could do so beautifully-- and they look great either in high-contrast or low-contrast colour values.
