Linda Pratt
for Classic Elite Yarns 1997
673 Makaha
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Both of these garments have dropped shoulders, and the only shaping within them is for the front neck. Yet Pratt's clear understanding of her yarns' special properties makes them magical and becoming. Metro-- a pebbly sportweight multicoloured rayon-- brought its drape and swish to the chevron tee (alas, no longer available, though it is the first gauge given). And Provence's beautiful cotton sheen and slight texture makes the A-line shape of the pullover both comfortable and very soft. Both are airy, breezy, free-moving.
