Sirdar
2012
9666 Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Here's another Grail in fashion knitting. The sharp-cut cardi-- really, almost a blazer-- in a superchunky yarn, with lightly set-in sleeves to mitigate any possible drop-shoulder sloppiness or bulk. The body fabric is all st st (terribly easy) and the pockets are optional, of course. All buttonholes/buttons are real and actually work. The borders are all 1/1 rib, and the buttonbands are knitted in two sections that meet (and are sewn down) at the back neck. A superb pattern for a timeless garment that looks great in any style of yarn.
