JB108 Cardigan and Waistcoat
WEB EXCLUSIVE
This cardi (or waistcoat) pulls off the astounding feat of looking demure even though it plunges to the waist. Much depends, of course, on what you wear under it. The deep welt thoroughly defines the waist; sleeves are well set-in. The ribbed front bands (so very British) are worked up from stitches on hold and knit to fit up alongside the fronts, and are sewn down to meet at the back neck. The wide cuffs echo the waist: good, sound design.
