This has got to be one of the prettiest, easiest cardigans we've seen in ages. What's not to love? The (knitted-in-one-piece) body is done in ribbing, which is attractive and most anyone can do it; but the sleeves are plain st st, so you don't have to worry about matching up the ribbing at the raglan seamlines, which is a blessing. The little belled him with the notch at the base of the buttonbands is beyond cute. The ribbed borders are knitted separately and sewn on; this creates the notch. The garment's appeal is great-- it's springy (Easter!), it's festive (Christmas bells!), it's girly but not gooey-- it's just wonderful.
