Whether or not fashion is really heading back to the garment roominess of the 80's, you can't argue with the sheer coziness and casual appeal of this cardi. Newton's judgment is impeccable, so the drop shoulders and dipped back neck are exactly right for this design. The Ecologie Wool (heavy worsted, 12 ply-ish) is no longer available, but was one of those thick-and-thin ones; this feature would be nice but isn't necessary for the success of the piece, nor are the colour changes.
