Just a stunning cardigan. While the fair isle pattern is extremely simple in itself, the use of colour here is revelatory.
The body and sleeves are mostly worked in the round, and then the body is steeked (cut) for the front and sleeve openings. If you've never done this, don't be afraid; the instructions are good, the pattern provides a field of dummy stitches to cut in, and you reinforce with machine sewing first. Delightfully, there are wee sequins sewn at the diamond centres on the green/pink version. The Tiur is no longer available, but was a mohair/wool sport weight; you could knit Heilo or Falk to the same tension, but they will drape differently. This design is from Dale of Norway Book 116.
