Ellis may well be the Antoni Gaudi of cabling. She understands the technique so well, and has such an open design mind, that her cablework always surprises and delights you. Here it enchants, too, in a very feminine piece that's comparatively easy to knit. The silhouette is fitted, with waist and shoulder shaping in the stockinette fields (back neck is straight). Sleeves are beautifully set in, with a good cap. As for the cable panels themselves... well, you can see they're uniquely lovely. Separate charts are provided for left and right sides of the neckline.
