5648 His and Hers Fair Isle Yoke Sweaters

A resoundingly British take on the classic Icelandic style. How so? These are knit in flat pieces to just after the armhole starts (you begin a kind of raglan decrease). You then assemble all the pieces together and finish the yoke in the round. The fair isle sections are written out, not charted; it would be soothing (and perhaps best) to have someone read them out loud to you while you work. Note that very little ease is recommended-- no more than 1.5"/3.8cm for any size, which gives you the close fit you see here.
