It doesn't get much classier or more enduring than these pieces, which are happily available in a wide size range. Sides of the garments are straight; sleeves are set in, with a goodly cap. Front and armhole borders are picked up from the edges and are knit out. The one departure from total tradition is these bands-- they feature a diagonal purl pattern that absolutely delights us.
