In this sleek, top-down piece, we have a number of gorgeous slimming elements. Take a look at the back: you've got a great lush cable, extra-foldy at the upper back, which narrows as you go down to the hem; it's arrow-like, rigorous, but sensual, too. The no-close front (though of course you could pin it) likewise narrows the body's appearance. Look at the way the armholes are curved: the up-and-down is reinforced, but you've got supple little sleevelets that appear to broaden the shoulders (and therefore smallen the waist). Altogether a wardrobe mainstay that adds elegance to the plainest outfit.
