Susan Mills
for Nashua Handknits
NHK28-8 Leaf Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Mills: "The lower body is worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided for working the Fronts and Back separately." This is one of our favorite things, as it obviates the need to sew up side seams, which can be a pain (especially in pattern). And this is a really attractive, interesting pattern. The leaf pattern panels are mirrored from sleeve to sleeve, and we love how the leaf border around the body grows out of the ribbing. Interestingly, sleeve caps are worked in a raglan style, but armholes have a set-in shape.
