Notes on this piece from Wilson: "The lower body is worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided for working the back and fronts separately. The shoulders are shaped using short rows to facilitate neat and easy assembly. The size S cardigan shown has four buttons which use only the four lowest buttonholes, even though the garment was worked with five buttonholes according to the instructions." This is delectable. The body is shaped everywhere, the sleeves are beautifully belled, and the femininity of the design belies the yarn weight (heavy worsted). From Nashua Handknits Book 48, Day Into Night.
