Urban Collection - 8 Designs for Winter-to-Spring

This collection offers the contemporary knitter a selection of eight knitwear patterns to suit any occasion. From winter accessories to sweaters to spring lace, your wardrobe will be furnished with knitted garments for virtually any time of year, in beautiful comfort. Additionally, you will find a range of knitting skills and techniques included in these patterns, from simple knit and purl combinations, to cables and lace stitches. The knitter will find much to keep interested with, and will be sure to get noticed by knitters and non-knitters alike while wearing these items out and about in the city! The patterns are all named for streets in my favourite ‘knitting cities’ around southern Ontario, Canada, where I have spent many hours knitting, as well as enjoying the company of fellow knitting friends. I hope that you will enjoy these patterns as much as I have.

In the final pages of this collection you will find not only glossary information but additional support for selected techniques used throughout the patterns – for example, working cables without a cable needle.
