Twining leaves, growing from big leaves at the bottom to small ones curling around the neck.
A quick knit in bulky yarn or in dk weight held double.
A short, fitted cardigan, constructed in an unusual way. The body is knitted bottom up with a large leaf panel. Then the sleeves are worked (also bottom up with 1 large leaf at the bottom). After that the leaf panel is worked, knitting the stitches of sleeves and back together with the leaves, while the leaves are getting smaller around the neck. Stitches are picked up at the front and neck to work the buttonbands with short rows to follow the curve of the leaves.
(We love the option of using DK weight yarn held double. Using a more tightly twisted yarn [much more often available in DK than chunky] will give good definition to the leaves and the knitting will be speedy with 6.0mm/10.0US needles. A thoughtful design from a European designer; and just look at the wrist detail--ed.)
