This was another special request from a customer, who was obviously not alone in her admiration; it was hard to track down. On arrival and examination, it turns out to be fantastic for a number of reasons. First, every one of these blanket designs looks great in any style of yarn (variegated, tweedy, whatever)-- hard to pull off. Second, all but the patchwork/mosaic one on the bottom right don't require any sewing (yay!). Third, even with the mosaic stitchwork, you only ever use one colour per row. Fourth, they all look good-- sometimes a bit different, but good-- on the obverse sides. Fifth: stashbusting! Gauge varies, but 4mm/US6 needles are used throughout. Any questions? We thought not.
