Susan Mills
for Nashua Handknits
NHK38-6 A-Line Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE
This is as involved as such a plain piece can be, though we believe it is easy rather than intermediate-- Nashua is a hard marker. It is made in pieces from the bottom up, with a belled 'skirt', and any complications only arise from the simultaneous shaping of raglan seamlines and the neck on the body-- the back neck is dipped too. Regardless, it's a sweet and pretty garment, all innocence. Try Rowan Summer Tweed instead of the Daylily; its st st gauge is only half a stitch off (DO get gauge) widthwise-- check needle size. From Nashua Handknits Book 38, Daylily.
