People photograph babies in all kinds of things these days, but this outfit is really awesome. You can imagine babies wearing it in the remote Himalayan kingdom of The Man Who Would Be King, or in Tibet... or perhaps on Alderaan, if you're into Star Wars. Probably Padme Amidala wore something like this at one time as an infant. Anyway, the stitch pattern is two knit rows alternating with two rows in which you P3tog a lot (though not through the back loops, happily). Poncho is made in two pieces, each of which looks like a giant plump V. The helmet is knit flat and seamed. Tassel instructions included. The Sport is actually a worsted (10 ply) weight; the edging is crocheted.
