This is a fantastically pretty little pinafore-style cardi, with set-in sleevelets and the skirt gathered just underneath the bodice. (The pattern has you cast off the 'skirt' and pick up the bodice stitches again, kindly noting that "These sts need to be cast off then picked up again so that 'gathers' of previous row are held in place"-- the gathers being formed by P2togs). There's a bit of shoulder and back neck shaping, but otherwise all is st st and seed stitch. A long sleeve option is included.
