Hobobird (crochet)

I named this fast & easy shawl for my friend, hobobird, who is a wonderful friend, a great supporter of my designs, & is addicted to shawls.

It’s made from the top down, and you can use any weight yarn & crochet until you feel it’s long enough. Because the edging is so simple, it’s easy to make sure you use all of your yarn, without having lots of leftovers!

I used Knit Picks Bare in fingering weight, which I dyed with Kool Aide to create the stripes shown.

This pattern is perfect for adventurous beginners.
