Here with five items, and two main styles, Gaughan manages to interest literally everyone in the world, East and West. The Western tradition of cables and texture is heartily represented in the blue sweater (with its wonderful easy-on-and-off neckline) and hat. The Eastern tradition of wraparound smooth lines, a tie at the waist (this garment really is a kind of baby ghi), and a meditative stitch pattern is shown by everything else. It's hard to imagine both of these styles not appealing; impossible to imagine neither.
