This set looks like utter luxury on its own, independent of the yarn; but to make it in a wonderful pure cotton yarn turns it into something that looks ten times as expensive as its materials. The design is pure class: just columns of pinstripe knits and purls to lengthen the torso, and a smattering of purl arrowheads on the cuffs and hem of the (set-in sleeved) cardi and the tank. In fine yarns, the pieces can literally look jewelled. Knit your bust size for the tank; the pattern recommends 2"/5cm of ease for the cardi. A variation of this look is Sirdar 5063, in a DK weight with a crew neck and tee instead of a tank.
