A super easy pullover for your little one. A simple garter stitch rectangle with unshaped openings for head and arms. The neck and side shaping is formed by the drape of the loosely knit fabric. Uses DK weight yarn on big needles at a very loose gauge of 16 sts to 4 inches. Shown in a cotton/linen blend, it has cap sleeves, or optional short sleeves. Side seams are sewn. Girl’s sizes 2 to 10.
(Easier than this it hardly gets. And yet when done in a gorgeous yarn like this one, even a beginner's kids' garment can turn into something just breathtaking-- Ed.)

How do I know the neck opening will expand enough to go over her head? WHat size is the one in the photograph here? I am knitting this for a two-year-old who is wearin gsize 3T.
Also, I found the yarn Ty-Dy 100% cotton color 332 tutti fruitti matched this picure, but not any Linsey yarn from Berroco.

The neck opening is plenty big for any child, see how the front neck scoops down?
The child in the photo is 3, and is wearing a size 4.
The recommended yarn is a dk, not a worsted. A dk is necessary for the correct drape.
I used Linsey yarn from Berroco.
I have fitting and sizing tips on my web site on the FAQ page.
