Here Schrade pares a design down to almost a complete minimum, with spectacular results. Atlante is a plied DK 100% bamboo yarn, and with the exception of the picot cast on (explained), that's it for embellishment-- the dress is all st st. But you can imagine the drape and fit, especially since she includes shaping for the waist and hip. The back is identical to the front with the armhole shaping reversed (the instructions say just that, and this is the only reason for the intermediate rating). The armholes are finished with 1" of 1/1 rib. The lovely lace scarf, attached or not, is of course optional.
