Here is a gloriously flattering shape in a lovely relaxed heavy worsted weight yarn (typically knitting at 4 sts to 1" in st st). Newton keeps the silhouette fairly simple-- there's obviously a blousing effect above the wide body rib, which dovetails beautifully with the set-in sleeves. The big soft 3/3 rib hugs gently on the lower body and sleeves, while the vertical cable and bodice pattern help to create a very becoming line. The standup neck-- the high funnel collar-- reinforces this, and gives a really lean effect overall.
