Pure and simple, and as modern as tradition can be. The look is entirely dependent on how much ease you choose, which makes this a pattern for the ages, as well as men and women. It's straight-sided, and the raglan sleeve decreases are done one stitch in from the edge for easier seaming. The buttonbands are knitted separately in a 1 x 1 rib, then sewn on (the crewneck ribbing is worked after that's done). Gorgeous in any style of yarn at all, so play with combinations if you want. This is the 300th pattern we've listed from Wendy, and we're happy that it's accessible to all knitters.
