Here Leapman does a wonderful job of establishing just what makes a garment masculine, feminine, or wearable by either sex. So: framed bobbles and a high collar equals feminine; single cable stitches and crew collar equals masculine. And it works. Both garments have indented armholes (modified drop or peasant shaping); sleeve tops are flat; shoulders are shaped, but not back neck. The large size range and classic styling will look good for generations.
