A shrug so generous it is practically winged. Says Sirdar: "This garment has a generous allowance for ease of movement - make the garment for your size to achieve the look shown on the leaflet." We love the overall stitch pattern, which is handsome on both sides, though different-- you can see it on the front turnbacks; also the ease of making. The front and back are worked in one piece, and the sleeves separately, with flat tops. The ribbed border is knitted separately too, until length is sufficient, then it's sewn on. The type is large and the pattern short. Garment is worked with a circular needle because of the number of stitches for front and back, but is worked flat, not in the round.
