Is it the design, styling, the model, or the scenery? How was Robin Wright not wearing this over a longer tunic at the beginning of The Princess Bride? Because this tunic fits that milieu so perfectly. It's modest and sweet and flowy, both archaic and new, modern medieval. The bodice is st st, knit first in two pieces; you sew those together at the sides, then the skirt is picked up and worked down in the round. There's a little keyhole closure at the back neck closed with one button. We think the Society for Creative Anachronism will take this design up in a big way-- justifiably.
