What is Patternfish?

Patternfish is an online store where you can buy or sell your knitting or crochet patterns as customized PDF downloads. That is all we do, and we want to be the best in the world at it.

We intend to offer everything: new, old, indie, corporate, vintage, modern, classic, and offbeat, from all over the world. We currently have 5034 patterns from the United States, Canada, Britain, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland, Germany, Ireland, France, Turkey, Wales, and Brazil. We're looking to broaden that base as much as we can.

We're in beta right now; this means that the site is still under ongoing development. We hope it will evolve in ways suggested by you. If you read the FAQ below and still have questions, or want to offer ideas, please .

You won't find free patterns here. Nothing in Patternfish is available for less than $3.00 US. You won't find advertising, either. We want to provide you with a calm, beautiful place to browse and pick and choose. Nor do we have discussion groups or forums at the moment. There are lots of them out there!
